There are two main options, self-drive and fly-drive.
Self-drive
From
Ireland there are two options. Irish Ferries sail every other day from
Rosslare to Roscoff or Cherbourg. Brittany Ferries have one sailing per
week from Cork
- Roscoff, outward Saturday
(arrive on Sunday) and inward Friday (arrive on Saturday). The drive to La Torre
Del Sol from Roscoff or Cherbourg is approximately 12 - 14 hours hence an overnight
stop is necessary.
Hotels in France are inexpensive, for example a family room for 4 in a B&B Hotel chain is approximately 55 euros.
Fly-drive
As a general rule the earlier you book your flights the lower the prices.
There are a number of flight options:
•Barcelona (80 mins) easyJet from Belfast
Jet2 from Belfast
Aer Lingus from Dublin and Cork
Clickair from Dublin
• Reus (25 mins) Ryanair from Dublin
•Girona (2.5 hrs) Ryanair from Dublin and Shannon
