There are two main options for getting to Le Ruisseau, self-drive and fly-drive.
Self-drive
From
Ireland there are two options. Irish Ferries sail every other day
from Rosslare
to Roscoff or Cherbourg, both approx 9 hrs drive to Le Ruisseau. Brittany Ferries have one sailing per week from Cork - Roscoff, outward Saturday (arrive on Sunday) and inward Friday (arrive on Saturday).
Overnight stops in France are inexpensive, for example a family room for 4 in a B&B Hotel
chain is approximately 55 euros.
Fly-drive
As a general rule the earlier you book your flights the lower the prices.
There are a number of flight options:
• Biarritz (10 mins) Ryanair from Dublin and Shannon
• Pau (1 hr) Ryanair from Stansted, Dublin
• Bordeaux (2 hrs) Aer Lingus from Dublin
• Vitoria (1 hr) Ryanair from Dublin
• Bilbao (90 mins) Aer Lingus from Dublin
